Life has been rather hectic of late, hence the lack of posting.
Life in Eve is on the upswing though, as I have transferred from our industrial wing to combat wing.
This is going to be a bit limiting to my posting ability, as I am going to have to dance around the who what why when where details.
So far, I have shot at a POS and it had the temerity to shoot back, thank goodness for logistics is all I can say.
As it sits, we are currently deployed to an area where a couple of alliances have been putting our towers into reinforced. They then blueball the repping fleet, followed by reinforcing another tower, rinse and repeat ad nauseam.
Our US alliance members have pushed this further by killing the towers we Aussies have reinforced.
I’m sure sooner or later there will be some name calling, spitting on station windows and making rude comments about their Mums.
I thought of writing some angry hate posts on the forums, but decided to wait until we have a forum post FC appointed so we can blob their replies.
Yes, I’m bored.
Eve has this huge down side to PVP in null, numbers win wars, period.
-A- and NC. have both had this same harsh reality ground into their faces, -A- even having picked up their bat and ball and gone home – after kicking down all their friends sand castles to ensure nobody in the playground liked them.
The fact is, numbers count and CFC/HBC outnumber everyone.
The recent spate of mild sabre rattling between the two giant entities was never going to escalate, all those stirring articles from both media camps trying to turn a single dog turd into a wild pack of hungry wolves were entertaining but wasted on the likes of me.
they may set up some standings adjustments for gudfites, but both leaderships are way too smart to let it go beyond that.
Much to the disappointment of pretty much everyone, I cannot see a decent war on the horizon.
Until CCP is willing to attack null sec as they have attacked ship balancing, the once shifting tide of null sec sovereignty aint going up or down, left or right, in or out.
I cannot tell you how much I would love to be wrong.
